We're kicking out 50,000 Haitians in July of 2019 because Haiti is better now.
You know, on the one hand I get it. These people need to return home once it's all good and stuff. Makes sense. On the other hand...they've been here for almost a decade. Haiti certainly isn't recovered yet. And all of these revocations are being done at the same time - the circumstances don't seem to be driving the policy.
Just feels callous. Makes us look bad.
