well they'll be happy up on the mesabi. and hey, maybe it'll revitalize those areas. but what INSTEAD should have happened was increasing tech infrastructure in the area to encourage people to hire contracting software developers from in-country and in-state who can be paid less because of lower cost of living. that would help revitalize such depressed areas: by revitalizing The Pastoral American Dream

I guess in order to be fair we should acknowledge that the politicians were privately vocal in opposition to this.
Just another sign that the GOP has no control over him and that he's slowly turning their base against them/towards him.

If China wanted to hit Trump they could dump all the grain they import from us. It'd dent the economy is areas he's got some support which are currently under GOP control.
