Honestly, the PCF I remember is much different than what is often presented.

PCF has always had an insane amount of trolling and virtual murders. I mean at some points there were actual power struggles between competing moderator factions and their prole armies. And nobody will ever forget the Epic Saga of Lil Wolf, and other such dramas. People were constantly dropping out, never to be seen again, it is just that forums of this nature were once popular, and now they aren't.

In any case, the big political forums left are f**k cesspools of idiocy, and most of the members make me seem friendly. The crowd is significantly older than the average online commentator, and the politics are very much stuck in the 90s. The only reason any of us still post here is to keep in contact with a few people whose opinions we have learned to respect over many years of abject cruelty and shameless personal attacks. One day, I may even be able to read one of Hurf's posts without hearing Yakety Sax.

Better enjoy the freedom to speak your mind while you still have it. The trend seems to be on many college campuses and media in general is to suppress any opposing points of view. The aim now seems to be finding the most oppressed groups, then trying to find any attachment you may have to it. The age of the victim is coming fast.
