The entrenched establishment, corporate democrats and functionaries given ludicrous air time to disseminate hawkish and dangerous propaganda are not even remotely representative of "the left."
To oppose the initiation of diplomatic, peaceful resolution in, what you perceive to be, complete ignorance of the substantive content, is both ignorant by definition and an implicit endorsement of the status quo of immensely dangerous warmongering. This is the idiocy of a John Bolton.
The constant military maneuvers, which are indeed substantively war games (practicing of "decapitation" and nuclear strikes, etc.) is not "all of our leverage on the peninsula." wtf are you even thinking? Leverage is by no means only limited to military aggression.
The agreement is also by no means "completely unverifiable." It's been analyzed in as much detail as has been so far possible. I already provided some of the best analysis so far produced. It's remarkable that those of you who are taking these ludicrously right-wing positions, with absolutely no supporting evidence whatsoever, continue to not even bother reviewing the analysis I continue to provide since the very same day that the meeting and agreements were signed.
Further, beyond the fact that military aggression is neither the only nor the most efficacious leverage, the agreement to cease engaging in it is equivalently also a "promise." That's wtf an agreement is.
If you would like to have a serious discussion of the issue you ought to review the DemocracyNow! analysis I've already posted as well as that provided in the Intercepted podcast. I hold you to a higher standard than some of the others, as I've known you to actually inform yourself. Do go ahead and do so.
