As for the NPT, it is irrelevant. Keep it around as a stick to hit other countries with, or not, so long as it is understood to be a stick rather than a serious effort for nuclear disarmament.

The tedious part is that Hurfs viewpoint is essentially cautious optimism for peace, with skepticism about the overall narrative. Which is fine, just grotesquely annoying when coupled with the worst f**k writing habits in PCF history.

The only thing that comes close is Spider using an emoji. But even that doesn't make me want to rip my eyes out. Our society has failed to cultivate these skills and now we're having to deal with a disturbing mix: a person simultaneously educated and suffering from a narrow form of illiteracy.
