NYT stands by their new hire of an asian woman who called white people "groveling goblins", "dogs", and put out calls for genocide of all white people and whatnot on twitter. because basically you can't be racist against white people, clearly https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/02/busi ... times.html

this may shock you but my name is not John Galt. people who use their real names on the internet deserve every bit of flak they get for that. and if the NYT wants to be against racism from people's tweets from years ago, then they should deal with racism from more recent tweets from their new hire, and fire her. they need to use this as a learning opportunity because they were aware of the tweets that advocated genocide before they hired her and did so anyway. because as the article states they didn't hire a white person because she tweeted "weev is a terrible person, & an old friend of mine." weev is some stormer troll. but whatever #CancelWhitePeople AMIRITE

the twitter wars continue, but when you have some people falling to their own dumbassery on twitter and others not, it's only going to get worse, NYT. way to go you f**k assholes

After all these years I think we mostly know each others names anyway. But regardless. Inconsistent application of rules, even stupid rules, based on race is not justifiable on a principled stance.

Seeing a purple haired pan sexual get a free pass for hating whites because she is slightly tanned than whites is the sort of thing that drives people away from liberalism generally. I get it. Hard to align with a political movement that openly and unabashedly hates you.
