last minute surprises should always be given the proper skepticism they deserve, especially something past the statute of limitations multple times over. it reeks of attempting anything to thwart the confirmation with a last ditch effort of contrived accusations. since so-called liberals obviously don't give a shit about human life and will go to any end to make sure we can continue to sacrifice people to the altar of individual choices without any repercussions for actions you took of your own free will and you are just a f**k idiot but whatever who cares it's only a life of some completely innocent 3rd party that in no way deserves to be penalized, i do think they would invent this from whole cloth. forgive me if i'll just take the side of the accused, not the accuser, who conveniently comes forward right before the final vote on the confirmation was to take place
this may still torpedo the nomination. which is very bad, because it just shows how easy it is to do that
