That you think "Antifa" (which is something mostly made up on the internet...very recently) is even remotely comparable to organizations that stretch back to other centuries and mentalities that have been prevalent since the dawn of civilization is illustrative of the batshit crazy fantasy world you live in.

Antifa, such as it is, doesn't matter. It's merely a bunch of stupid kids who oppose fascism, thus the term. White supremacists exist in the millions, spacemonkey. Just because most of them keep their mouths shut 95% of the time and don't show up to rallies with torches doesn't mean their hatred and ignorance isn't painting votes, social conditions, and tainting society generally.

A moral panic is a feeling of fear spread among a large number of people that some evil threatens the well-being of society.

it's like the salem witch trials, satanic abuse, video games causing violence, etc. me2 is a moral panic to the point of now claiming some man didn't actually rape anyone but he was there, watching rape happen. careful not to accuse so far as to rape, but also that it's believable to some because all those other nameless boys are likely animals. she only names two people who have already been named; kavanaugh says he doesn't even know who this woman is

But hey - timing. It's all a coincidental attempt to undercut GOP appointment to SCOTUS. McConnell only warned Trump about this dude because he thought it'd be a little harder to confirm an alleged rapist/groper/etc.

I hope the GOP pushes this dude through now. If what the latest victim claims is true, we're bound to hear from more.
