Quebec and East of Quebec seems to be the strictest regimes. Ontario is gonna be pretty lax I think.

Yeah, trying to figure what I should base my vacation around. i've been thinking about going up there for hockey games, but all the road games for the wild are in the brutal months (i'd like to drive to winnipeg, for example, which is the closest to me; it's 7 hr drive which ain't that bad, but could be horrid in winter)

i could do another circle tour though. i liked the parks (lake superior provincial park was wonderful), and i heard you can blaze it in the parks, which is great. or maybe i should just go into the boundary waters and canoe around. in any event, i'd sing oh canada, but how does one stand on guard when blazed

It's so weird to me that "blazing in the parks" is an attraction for you John. I say this not to be condescending but because that's pretty much accepted here in California (sometimes you come across some douchebag park ranger but that's rare these days).

I should venture out to other states - we must be in our own little happy world.
