Besides there's no confusion since when we sign up we are all required to pick a unique username that identifies us and that name is displayed on each post we make.

I don't see what the problem is here. Unless you are manifestly retarded (which I know, actually, is a handful of you) it is clear that when philly posts, it says philly on the top. When someone else posts, it has their name. Don't try to create arbitrary, unjust, and totalitarian rules because you are to lazy to read the username of whoever is posting.

I made the rule because it's subject to abuse. There is no justifiable reason to be using someones avatar unless your intent is to mock or troll another member.
