George Herbert Walker Bush, not GWB
The most qualified individual to ever hold the office, he oversaw the destruction of our greatest enemy and of a coalition from across the globe to complete a successful war. He also put the country above his own success or that of the party; he raised taxes because he had to, in order to fix the deficit problems caused by the successful campaign to end the empire of evil, after his own party rebelled against him and wouldnt sign on to anything that cut spending and raised taxes; he had to raise taxes and modestly increase spending to get Democrats to write a budget. All men are flawed, Philly, but he was a overall a force for good in the world and in this country, and he was a good president. RIP
Americans learn only from catastrophe and not from experience. -- Theodore Roosevelt
