Is it possible that the reason why President Trump is so emboldened about committing domestic and foreign crimes is because Presidents are never held to account for what they have done? That perhaps a crucial aspect of maintaining support for an establishment that has consistently and unrepentantly broken laws, spied on the world, engaged in mass killings and atrocities, etc., is treating the perpetrators as great men? Perhaps there is even a link between Presidential authority worship and the totally out of control executive branch?
