It wasn't a bet. trump agreed to sign it, which is why McConnell allowed the vote. trump then changed his mind at the last second, because Rush and Coulter were mean to him. And so here we are.
Not funding the wall isn't on the Dems. The Republicans just spent two years blocking the wall, and trump signed off on it, repeatedly. Then he agreed to signed off on it again. And now, after he lost the House, he's decided that what he'd already agreed to, that was originated in the Republican-controlled House, and passed by the Republican-controlled Senate...just won't do.
Be real. We're talking about a bill that the GOP was perfectly fine with just weeks ago and trump said he'd sign. It's idiotic the way the GOP is bent over backwards to contradict themselves.
