Could be one of the biggest fields in recent memory. My crystal ball shows one helluva mud slinging show, just from our people. Excluding anything the Russians may add.lol. It will be interesting to see how they attempt to push socialism though.

Bernie's platform has diminished because everybody else is adopting the same progressive mantra to varying degrees. I think this will come down more on how they perform on stage. I think it'll come down to:

- Beto O' Rourke (Unknown quantity, Texas, white, younger male, pretty to look at for the masses)
- Klobuchar (relatively unknown nationally, midwest, has gumption as evidenced by rally in snow, probably able to go toe to toe with Trump, etc)
- Harris (Trying to straddle the three pillars of candidacy this election: identity, progressive economy, and anti-Trump vigor)

Personally I'd rather have Warren in there because her desire to help out "the forgotten man" is genuine, her substantive policy development and implementation is exhaustive, and she's damn smart. But I've seen her interview and I don't think she'll do well during any debates.

Warren would be excellent from a wonkish standpoint. But I agree with you that she is pretty uninspiring. Wouldn't be surprised if the ultimate nominee is somebody nobody is really talking about today.

We'll see. I expect to witness more tampering in the electoral process by outside actors and by the GOP - there will (if there isn't already) be a campaign designed to divide the Dems if not create a bloc of apathy large enough for Trump to sneak through again (if he isn't primaried by a challenger).

The only candidate that has perked my interest at all is Amy Klobuchar and I wouldn't even know who she was if it wasn't for the Kavanaugh hearings. I wouldn't mind our governor getting into the fray but he's an uninspiring speaker and no one knows who the hell he is. Doesn't much matter though I'm going to be pragmatic and vote for any of them over Trump. As far as I'm concerned Bernie's 15 minutes has come and gone.
