Anecdotally - I am seeing fewer and fewer employees come into work (I'm fortunate enough to work in a field that's deemed essential).

Hopefully the Senate and House will begin work on a second bill remotely. Hopefully they do not delude themselves into thinking this is all the country will need.

Winter is Here man

We're gonna break 100K today. This is largely because we had such bad testing before so when I said 50k it was based upon the idea that testing wasn't completely f**k lacking

they are talking about shutting down NYC through May

and my state, my governor is only having stay at home for 2 weeks (although he's extended the bar/resturant/school closures into May). the reason? the point is to extend the time that we have to build facilities and stockpile equipment. he's still planning on peak infection of 2 million at the same time of the 5.6 million in the state in june/july timeframe, but it buys time to turn stadiums and shit into temporary hospitals

i will say china is most certainly lying about their numbers. even with full shut down there's no f**k way they only had those kinds of numbers. SK did it right, everyone else was f**k the dog
