bunch of white libs with MASTER degrees coming up with new ways to address systemic racism and the problem of policing: deleting terms that only medically diagnosed idiots could interpret as racist

github replacing "master", "blacklist" and "whitelist". master from "master recording" according to the creator of git (and used instead of trunk, to differentiate it from it's old competitor, subversion) and "blacklist" of course has nothing to do with racism, and "whitelist" is just the opposite of blacklist

As I've mentioned, always follow the money. I thought this thread was pretty interesting on the broader aspect of police salaries, overtime, etc and how it impacts enforcement from a public defender. It has a lot of links in it that back a much broader problem.
