I love how hostile Spider is about statues.
Venerating any individual enough to give them a statue is a sick and wasteful practice, that serves nobody and improves nothing. It is a sign of a diseased and antisocial mind, which is why Europeans are so big on it.

well one was done by agents of the state, others by private actors. it's like complaining about "free speech" and "rights" being infringed upon by a store or whatever. of course the protests are going to be about state actors committing violence against people
