Multiple scholarly accounts testify to the fact that without the us base at Ascension Island, the British task force would have been haggard and confused by the time they made it out there, and without US reconnisance support the Argentines would have wrecked them. Thatcher bit off more than the royal navy could chew so she had to come to Reagan hat in hand asking for what amounted to a millitary bailout.

Yeah he's not even being original these days.
Whenever saz mentions anything about Britain or British history he's trying to bait you. As i've said, he's (probably) not actually that stupid.
