Yeah, Tebow is bad.. There's no doubt about that...

But even though I am NO fan of Ryan, I think signing Tebow was Woody's idea, not Ryan's. The Giants just won the SB, and another dirty little secret is the Jets are having a tough time selling tickets.. Which, BTW, for EITHER NY football team is unheard of... For decades both NY teams had waiting lists that lasted years... Now? Jets are having trouble selling tickets So signing Tebow probably was a PR move by Woody to get some of the back pages away from the Giants, and to sell tickets..

So Ryan is stuck with Tebow, and he's so bad Ryan really can't play him, so Ryan's using him sparingly, he's saying the right things, and he's doing what he can to cover Woody's ass.

FWIW I think the Jets biggest problem is not winning enough to meet expectations, and the reason for that is that their receivers can't bloody well catch.

The Jets are 3-4 playing in a market where have have to compete against the Giants, who BTW won the SB last year AND have one of the most popular players/QB's in football..

There's no 'in the long run'...If Tebow was even an average QB, Ryan and the Jets would sell their souls AND play Tebow at QB in a NY minute if it meant wins and competing with the Giants for publicity and back pages of the NY papers. But he's not even average, he's far below average.

BTW these are only RUMORS, but supposedly the Jets want Tebow to play other positions, but he's refusing.. He still sees himself as a QB... The problem he has is no one in the NFL sees that... And there's also another rumor he's already told 'friends' he will be leaving the Jets at the end of the year and try to go to a team that will play him at QB.. Because obviously it seems like the Jets aren't going to.

Again these are only rumors.. And who knows, if the Jets are 3-8 in a few weeks they may bench Sanchez and play Tebow just for the hell of it.

But again if Tebow was showing anything in practice he would be the starter by now.

So the storms coming, I'm sitting around with nothing to do so for the 1st time on a looong time I watch the football pre-game shows... All I got to say is LOL..

As far as the hype and the BS goes sports is no different then to 24/7 news channels.. All I heard about is RG 3 and him going up against the 'steel curtain'...LOL The Steelers defense has been awful and saying they are now the 'steel curtain' is a F'ing joke and RG 3 has played what 6-7 games? And like Cam Newton(who's come crashing back down to earth this year) and Tim Tebow(who's barely played this year) of last year, they already have RG 3 in the HoF...

Unbelievable.

I've been able to see every Steeler game this year, except for this weeks game... After seeing the highlights and seeing those uniforms, I am glad I wasn't able to see the game.. Watching that for 3 hrs. would have given me a headache..

I've never seen an uglier uniform.. In ALL of sports.. And that's including the old Houston Astos uniforms of 20+ years ago.. They use to be the worse, not anymore..
