Bad news bears here. No liquor or food. Just made a last ditch effort to order on grub hub. Buddy is going to try and fight his way to the liquor store. LTE on my phone is down to 3G.

Good luck with those guns. Here in LA, the police started confiscating all guns right after Katrina. Private property and second amendment went right out the window.
Being a veteran of multiple hurricanes, good luck guys. Chances are you'll live if you stay put. But, living in a house without any power for 3+ days absolutely sucks. Go rent a hotel or stay with friends.

I've always thought power outages were cool. Get to break out the candles and the oil lamps, fire up the fireplace. Everything is nice and quiet all day. Lots of quality reading and humping gets done. Taking a break from a thousand sources of electronic noise pollution is a good thing sometimes.
