Pretty abandoned around these here parts. I tried to go for a run but there's a lot of water on the ground still and it's ridiculously cold.

Storm was a big dud here.. Almost no rain, and some wind yesterday, but nothing big. No lost power or down trees anywhere near me.. And I'm only an hour north of the city.. But obviously the north side of this storm was the dry side.. I doubt we got 1/8" of rain. They closed all the schools today, but right now the sun is out and it's very nice..
A week ago they were predicting Sandy would come ashore right over the top of NYC, but she came ashore much further south. That was a lucky break for where I am, thank God.. But wow, Sandy made a big mess south of us.. Some of those storm surges are nasty.
