No, I never said that. I said if you copy someone's song without their permission, you have stolen it. You're the only one who mentioned "intellectual property." I'm saying a physical good that someone put money into producing. If you take that item without permission, physically or digitally, you have stolen it. Period. The only way you can possess a digital song is if you bought it from someone, either online or via CD. Downloading it for free is stealing.

Do you have any integrity left? I mean I have downloaded tons of songs for free, but I surely don't pretend like it's not wrong. It's damn wrong.

You have to remember, someone who made that song spent their time and money creating it, their money renting a recording studio, their money getting it out to the public, marketing, etc etc. Why do you have a right to steal that product? I mean every product has R&D costs passed onto the consumer. I agree with the above guy up until he says stealing music is not wrong. He explains very well why listening to music on a radio isnt stealing anything. It isn't the listening to the song that is the thievery, its the "owning" the song on physical media, to be played whenever you want and however many times you want without commercials.
