Nor am I taking a 'lets make poverty history' line. Far too experienced and cynical for that.

My position is simply, not going to dress a donkey up like a horse.

So im not going to buy into the idea that, working a bunch of phillipinio's near enough to death whilst giving them a wage enough that allows them some disposable income. Is some sort of Philanthropic act, which is but one step on the way to this country industrialising like we did and becoming and all nice and shit (the horse). Social mobility here we come!

Where this is (the donkey) simply a multinational or outsourcing independent company, putting yet another call center overseas because whilst the quality of the service will be lower, hell. Its cheaper and you can do to the workers pretty much whatever you want. Of which PoS is a cog (perhaps one of the shinier, better compensated cogs) in yet another faceless and soulless combine.

Not that theres anything wrong with being a cog in a machine mind you, just when the cog starts going on about how important a cog it is, how nice the machine is to everyone etc. My ire gets mirked, ya feel?
