I'll be sure to define "in style" by the subjective opinions of some dude on the internet over the objective reality that pea coats are currently very much in style, are being embraced and released by the world's top designers, and that military-style outerwear has very much been a popular style amongst designers this year. But you know, it's not in style, because... uh... because Darkhorse says so.
As for the hick comment, you seem to think that it is somehow linked to the aspect of living in a small town. Which is, of course, absurd, and not at all what the word means: "an unsophisticated, boorish, and provincial person." You can be unsophisticated, boorish and provincial while living in New York City. Now I don't actually expect you to know what you are talking about RE: anything, but I am certain you can grasp this concept, at least superficially.
