"We" is the general public, and the apology would be for refusing to accept any responsibility for the deaths of those 96 people.

And the unrelenting bullshit we've had to put up with for the past two decades.

And those people who were in Hillsborough that day and were not Liverpool supporters.

Because the fans have been blaming everyone except themselves for over twenty years, and now that they've bullied the government into placating them they've behaved utterly ungraciously, and demanded retribution for people who were relatively blameless.

Liverpool fans killed their own that day, and still none have been prosecuted.

It's an utter disgrace.

That report is a whitewash. It is literally impossible for Liverpool fans to be blameless. If no Liverpool fans had been pushing to get in, having arrived late then there would have been no problem at all. Crowd control isn't necessary if the crowd is behaving responsibly.

It's not about me being anti-scouser, much of my family is from that part of the world. It's about scousers who refuse to accept responsibility for their own actions.
