She is pretty sophisticated in terms of taste, very into fashion and makeup and girly things. This is why she surprised everyone by marrying a dude who is categorically unsophisticated in all things.

I expect there's a sufficient market for there to be mass import keeping the cost down.

Well the other idea I had just now was shipping her up to Toronto for a shopping spree. Nothing like wanton materialism to warm the heart. PLUS the last time I funded something like this, she turned $3000 of high end clothes into $6000 by selling most of it online a few days later. Something tickles me about making money off this.
Of course there is the chance she'll end up keeping it all instead of selling it, and frankly, I wanted this to be cheap. So spa day it is. And bonus is that I forgot I had a free presidential upgrade at a Marriott hotel due to me.... So I can make this seem like a much more costly thing than it is (she always gets mad at me for being cheap. I call it sensible, but this goes back to the whole sophistication thing).
