Hardly. They could have said, "we're considering all options", or "the starting spot will be up for grabs during training camp" or "Tebow sucks, we're going to get a good QB in the draft or free agency".
But they didn't. They said he was the starter from the end of the last season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sanchez and Tebow play committee. Which royally sucks for fantasy owners.

Ok, here's my prediction for the 2012 season for the playoffs.
AFC East - Patriots
AFC North - Ravens
AFC South - Texans
AFC West - Broncos
I believe that Peyton will get into the groove around week #4 and will win their division. If he gets hurt, I'll go with the Chargers .
Wildcards - Jets, Chargers/Denver (one will win division, the other will get wildcard.
NFC East - Giants
NFC North - Packers
NFC South - Saints
NFC West - 49ers
Wildcards - Bears, Lions
The Bears have beefed up the front line bigtime and added Michael Bush to give them a strong running game. Cutler is a decent QB when he isn't faceplanted in the grass all the time.
If Stafford and Megatron stay strong...

There is absolutely no way, no how the Colts make the playoffs. None. Only thing I really disagree with your predictions Ozzone. I mean, I think the jets will fail, but it's a defensible pick. Colts will be lucky to win 5 games.
