Could have been 9/10 if the movie hadn't gotten so preachy and annoying. The action was awesome, the plot was cool, I really dug the characters... but why the hell do you try and make it so meaningful. It is a drug movie.

Caught Seeking a Friend for the End of the World on a flight recently. Odd pairing of Steve Carell and Keira Knightley, but it wasn't terrible. Got a bit syrupy at times, but there is an asteroid bearing down for the grand finale.
Definitely a 6/10.

I just finished an interesting and obscure film from 1962 The Intruder - Tells the story of an agitator who arrives in a small southern town shortly after integration in the school system. William Shatner plays the lead role of Cramer in the film, and shows what a fine acting career he may have gone on to have if he'd not done Star Trek

Shatner's role on that show has completely eclipsed that of Kirk. To me, Shatner is Denny Crane now.
