Wouldn't a plant constantly be rotating around to different sites in order to reach a broader audience though?

I don't believe that a Brown trained staffer is going to ignore Nate Silver, or any well-thought out analysis. There was zero analysis favoring Romney that didn't have a hilariously biased Republican pollster behind it. There was nothing reasonable to hang your hat on.
I have no idea why immediate assumptive reverence is given to this concept of "internal polling". It gives the entire election a feel of Big-Lie politics.
