...nobody I know is arguing that the country will turn to glass or be wiped from the face of the planet. Of course under the most inconsequential of terms the country will remain and life will go on. But if we're looking at this in the given context of the OP, they yes, sh*t isn't good in Greece. Could it be worse? Sure. Invoke Godwin. But this doesn't remove the fact that it's pretty terrible there economically speaking. Extremely poor economies with extremely high levels of unemployment for the younger demographics are more prone to political instability.

Sure but long term jobs are mostly attributable to large corporations. Most small businesses fail and the jobs disappear, thus leading to workforce instability and inefficiently allocated employee expertise.

Plus small businesses tend to be more poorly run than large businesses. That's why they are small businesses instead of large ones. They suck at what they do so they can't become bigger and gain a better market share.
