I can only judge by what I saw when I watched the movies. As an adult. If you had told me the whole thing was created by disney in the first place it would have been highly believable.

The fanbase is kids and people who loved watching it as kids. The plot is a basic good vs evil in a fantasy land thing. No adult themes, nothing particularly complex about the plot.

Shit is kids movies. Deal with it.

Mostly not. I doubt most kids can really appreciate a film like Citizen Kane or the Godfather.

i already gave two examples of movies not meant for children that are enjoyed by children.

a lot of children i know like horror movies. the exorcist? meant for kids i guess

a lot of children i know like action movies. fight club? meant for kids



i could go on and on, philly, but i know you don't have a real answer for any of this.

Fight Klub appeals to teenagers, not children.

Jurassic Park appeals to kids cause adults who like it are the mental equivalent of 10 year olds.

Never saw the exorcist so no I don't have an answer on that one.
