Tim Cook could declare himself emperor of earth right now and not many people could form a logical argument against it.

Innovating...what?

I mean, sure, they've successfully packed certain techs together in ways that make them very marketable...but its been a long while since anything was innovated. I guess I'm just waiting for something new. OSX has become rather ancient, the iphone and ipod are both very old news, and still stick to the same basic formula. The tablet is just an expansion of what was already there...though I enjoy the display on the latest model enough to purchase one.

I'll be happy if they come up with something new anytime soon. Its been years since that's happened.

This isn't a *crap on Apple* post...its just that all this talk of innovation gets old when its been literally years since any of it has happened. The iphone was a real game changer. No doubt of that. But that was over half a decade ago.

Time for something new. (And its significant that I'm staring directly at Apple while tapping my foot.)
