here we see the difference between teachers unions and other kinds of unions

with teachers, the bulk of them dont even know what theyre doing. theyd never survive if they worked where a product was being produced that required quality control like hostess

so mabye at least the drone worker bee types from hostess have a chance to make it elsewhere now that they shot themselves in the foot and quit their jobs in the middle of this pathetic economy

and no - if you quit or you lose your job as a result of a labor dispute - no unemployment checks

I guess it could be state to state, but I was under the impression that refusing to cross the picket line isn't a qualifying reason to be out of work and get unemployment, but the second that its no longer an option, as the factory is actually closed, then it's considered to not be your fault and you can collect.
