Never spent a dime in GW2. Never felt any need to. If the game were set up in a such a way where I felt the need to do so, I wouldn't play it.
Of course, I'm not one of these "pro" people living in a basement and pulling 16 hour gaming sessions, either. I've little doubt those guys are chipping in.
