Re: Historical comparisons.

I think it's fair game to discuss past incidents of ethnic/religious mistreatment when talking about the conditions Palestinians have to endure in the small territory they currently can call home. Apartheid is a valid comparison to draw, as is treatment of European Jews under Hitler (NOTE: Not the death camps and gas chambers, I'm referring to the ghettos earlier on).

In any case, though, the context here is different and the situation only shares certain aspects of the historic comparison.
