Just as an aside here....
Guys, I cannot stress this enough. Don't buy anything directly from the seller....look on eBay. Prices will be drastically lower. And you can usually find "buy it now" deals. One of my buddies built his car stereo from parts he bought on eBay...saved over $1K on parts. Everything was new/quality.

Don't buy her a knife. That's a horrible present. My daughter is into baking , so I bought her a cake stand rather like this:

That would be a lovely present along with good old perfume. Yeah, it's boring but if she's the same girl you told us about last time, then she doesn't have much spare cash to spoil herself, so something indulgent along with the practical present would be lovely.

Think I'm going to take the gf to Paris. Only thing is I hope she's cool with getting there by coach because I can't afford to fly or get the train for that matter.
