My personal feelings are that the GOP aren't telling us porn needs to be banned because they're tired of it being used as a substitute for parenting.

Here's what I'm thinking: I started the thread, and the thread is about how the GOP wants to go back to the Comstock Laws days, which is further evidence of their obsession with sex and/or neo-Calvinism/Puritanism, just as is their obsession with abortion.
That's what I'm thinking.
And here you are making a porn-as-bad-parenting argument that nobody's ever heard before, which really has sod all to do with the OP because this is not the line of reasoning that the GOP is using.
