LOL it is a bit of a nerd's spreadsheet game I personally liked the flight and combat being more strategy than twitch because I like to win fights by thinking/planning but then I would say that because I am shit at twitch controls.

Thing is the really interesting stuff came from going to lowsec and 0.0 to PvP/pirate/Conquer and a lot of people never make it that far as it seems so inaccessible. That is CCP's fault of course and not likely to change.

i like both, but it depends on the setting. i don't play games like starcraft anymore because at the ancient age of 22 i can't deal with the stress of having 200 APM so i opt for more grand strategy games like what paradox does or total war. when it comes to anything involving a vehicle or a single person though i want it to be an FPS or sim. it drives me crazy as a player when i can't control ever aspect of a singular object.

but yeah they shouldn't change it. there's been lots of back and forth about making the game accessible and the only real interpretation for that is simplifying it and adding training wheels to every new character like your standard MMO. it would absolutely ruin the game.
