Small government, low tax, localized power (eg out the EU). They also want to strictly limit immigration which is where they are getting the working class vote from. I have a few friends in the UK who are really typical down to earth working class. They are all talking about voting Ukip because in their eyes they see all the eastern euros moving into our town, taking the low-skilled work at minimum wage and generally being a pain in the arse. The Labour party and their quislings in public service who see themselves as protectors of the working class are all champagne socialists who live in ivory towers and haven't actually got a clue that the working man in the UK is actually pretty fundamentally right wing.

They also want to replace the commie May day holiday with a holiday on St Georges day which alone wins my vote

People vote UKip because they don't dare vote for the BNP, as they don't want to be seen as racist bigots. Which is exactly what they are, really.

Some of you tried to give me a lot of guff about people voting for UKip because they believe Britain would be better off economically out of the EU, but let's face it, it's mostly because they don't like the economic migrants from the former eastern bloc.

I've read the UKip manifesto and nobody can possibly take it seriously. It's mostly about deporting illegal immigrants, which , when they've finished abolishing all human rights laws and Acts , will be everyone who isn't white and British - inside if not outside.

The Tories aren't right wing enough, but the BNP go a bit too far.

Woah, hang on a sec. This whole left wing, right wing thing gets a bit confusing as it's far too basic. BNP are the furthest right socially but one of the most left wing economically. UKIP aren't quite as far right socially, but are probably the furthest right economically. Then Labour slightly left on both of the Tories. And I don't even know with the Lib Dems any more - probably whatever will give them power.
