With certain exceptions, trying to be anonymous on the web draws more attention than leaking the normal amount of descriptive data.
People really need to rework what their idea of privacy is. Privacy as defined in the 21st century, is allowing your data to be lost in the endless pile of digital trash that is the internet, and controlling the most vital pieces. Not trying to keep yourself walled off.
