im with you boris - i got a bad feeling about fb several years ago on the first occasion where i "deleted" my account
was prompted several times if i was sure - because it was permanent
then 2 weeks later i went to start a new account only to find that my original account was simply reactivated, and all the original data was still there in its entirety
so yes, i think that everything youve ever done on that site has in fact been stored permanently and i too have since altered my behavior there, if for nothing other than to stop the bleeding (no profile pic, no references to drugs/alcohol/politics/religion etc)
so anyway, part of me is offended by this but at the same time, i have to figure that my personal data - though personal to me - is lost in a massive database of raw figures used mostly for marketing purposes so i dont feel like im being personally spied upon
but still, f* facebook
