i found some hacker's cache or something since it was a box containing 5 of everything in game aside from backpacks. still, i take what i can get (this was 5 minutes after a respawn, box was on side of road i was running down, after some guy shot me as i was hiding in a bush with a crowbar trying to get zombies off of me. a crowbar is all i had. jackass.). as50 gogogo

i think the map was placed in it though, as it has directions to help someone. oh well. the box certainly was loaded. i need to figure out how to use this gps/map shit though

The map has directions, you mean like a little circle with a cross in it with text next to it?

If anyone on a sever places thouse with a click, everyone with a map will see them.

Yea, I've played the Day Z mod, I just think it's stupid. Arma 2 is a combat simulator, not a zombie sim. I played Arma 2 for 6 hours online with a buddy of mine the other day. I was the dedicated air transport to and fro all the little towns. But, I'm also a real pilot in real life, so it didn't bother me. I didn't get many kills as I didn't shoot anything but I still had fun. I've played the Arma series since the first Arma came out. I have Arma 2 and Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead.

They are coming out with Arma 3 soon.

I tried to play this a while back but the game loaded me in a field in the middle of no where. Read a post that said it was some debugging area or something and to run east. Ran east for 2 hours. Never found a god damn thing.

Waste of $30 to buy Arma II for this.
