How do cops reconcile differences between legality and ethic

I would say that realistically the cockhead percentage in my local police force would be around 10-15% max. Travis county is really laid back tho, next door in Williamson county it's an entirely different story.

So location is definitely a factor.

city cops are pretty cool, usually, for smaller cities. it's campus police, border patrol, troopers, and big city cops that are often the f**k worst.

i think it's because often those groups are alienated from any sense of community where they patrol so they just behave like dickhead automatons. local cops in small cities have a sense of community generally.

Although, now that I think about it. I've been let go with weed twice by border patrol. Once they didn't even take it. They were looking for fruit or something.
