Ya. You really can't apply the same standards to a comic book flick. All it can ever be is popcorn entertainment. Nolan came closest to breaking out of that mold with TDKR, but these are still comic book movies at the end of the day.
Nobody can reasonably compare The Avengers to Zero Dark Thirty, even though they have both been reviewed very favorably. One is a very serious production about real world events, and the other features men in tights zooming around, fighting crime.
Totally different rubrics needed here.
