this is my biggest point of contention with people who criticize movies generally. they don't adjust criteria between genres and movies generally. some things i can't understand how you wouldn't enjoy just watching it for raw entertainment value UNLESS you were judging it like you were more serious movies. the avengers being one of them. it's just raw entertainment. explosions, guns, comedy, samuel l jackson.
