my opinions are subjective but they're not arbitrary. they're based on a set of criteria i look for in certain movies. we went over this.

yes, i judge superhero movies by less high-brow criteria than i would judge a drama or something. most people do.
what makes being arbitrary such a bad position is that it makes you opinions less...serious? they hold no weight. "i don't like x because y but i like z cause y"
it smacks of intellectual dishonesty. even if it's in regards to music and movies.
