Wow, move those goalposts quick. Try to forget you just tried to compare LA to NO and I shot that shit down like a stinger missile.

But I can follow you around with the goalposts.

Lets see what we have so far: I said originally that Louisiana has a high gun injury rate per capita because of New Orleans, the most dangerous large city in America. Someone tried to say it wasn't and I proved them wrong. You came along and said it didn't skew it much at all and tried to compare LA in CA to NO in Louisiana. I shot that shit down before it got off the ground.

It has a huge effect per capita. The numbers don't lie. You say it doesn't, prove it. I've proven it does many times.

Discussion about the laws aside, there is a much stronger issue here. This country is not a prison. Most neighborhoods are open for anyone to walk in. We don't have broken bottles littered around our homes to keep intruders out. We tend not to have bars across our windows either. Schools never had to have metal detectors or lock down methods.

These kind of situations are essentially destroying our way of life, in a sense, taking away our freedoms. As these events happen more often, we loose our sense of security and look to alternative methods of security (often why we look toward laws for example). That's more of a problem to me than any gun law on the books.
