Having ours tonight. We always do a really nice party and have a really nice restaurant to ourselves tonight. We did a seperate one for our NYC office last weekend, but I couldn't get up there for it this year.

Holiday parties are always a bit of a beating, but it's something we owe our people. I used to enjoy them more when I was younger, but now they are a bit of a choir.

Also, as a counterpoint to PoS in 1st World Land, we gave bonuses this year and our bonuses ranged from 5k-30k for our employees depending upon their title and performance. Effing plebs were so happy when they got them.....

We're doing secret santa and then going to a bar...someone in my office is (rightly but overly) mad at me...hope she's not there, it may be awkward.

I don't go to the Christmas party. It's frowned upon for teachers to drink in the open, so usually a non-alcoholic restaurant is selected. And EVERY parent keeps trying to talk about school.

I'm still young enough that I just visit my college bars.

I haven't attended an office Christmas party in the past decade and my bonus makes NAB's salary look like a woman earned it.
