I don't see why it matters if it's a choice or not. People should be able to choose whatever lifestyle they want.
As far as rights are concerned claiming that inherent characteristics somehow "outweigh" personal choice is bad logic imho. Being born a certain way is not a prerequisite for autonomy in making decisions concerning personal matters.

I agree Dharma. All of the evidence indicates that homosexual orientation is developed while in the womb, making it not a choice, but even were there some bizarre case where people could choose, clearly they should be able to.

I'm not entirely convinced that homosexuality and heterosexuality are not just another form of culturally imposed social role in themselves.
