Well I suppose if everybody else is doing it.....:
I'm Eric. Graduated high school in Ohio where I'm also from, and went on active duty in the Army. Was stationed in South Korea, then Hawaii, and did a tour in Iraq. Aviation operations was my job, and I did air traffic control in Iraq at a small heliport. I'm 23, currently dating a med student, and pursuing my B.S. in industrial and systems engineering. Love what I do so far and totally love not paying tuition while getting nearly $20,000 every year I don't have to pay back. I'll probably be finishing up either next year or the year after depending on if/when I get a paid internship. I'm pretty fortunate to escape any serious injury while being in the military. I do have intermittent insomnia (from working 12 hours and switching between day and night shifts often) that every once in awhile just crushes my soul, but I refuse to take meds for it. I'm in pretty good shape. I've been in better shape though back when I was running 5-6 miles in the am, gym for lunch, and swimming a couple miles after work. Starting to get back into running and swimming, and doing more cross-fit type stuff than powerlifting or anything like that. I'm also a certified rescue diver and I've been diving in both the Philippines and Hawaii. Looking to head up to the lakes next summer and dive some shipwrecks. I love cooking (my New Years resolution is to cook something new every week). I (as you all probably know) am a fan of Apple products, though I maintain that I'm objective in my like for them. I love doing anything outdoors, sports, going to bad ass restaurants, and just a bunch of different stuff.
Overall, right now my life is pretty f**k awesome. Not trying to brag so much as I'm just really happy with everything except my parents getting divorced or whatever and a couple of family deaths.
